Electricity Bill & Contract Analysis
You may be paying more for electricity than you need to.
Electricity bills arrive month after month. Someone checks them, approves them, accounting processes them, and the company pays them.
But when was the last time someone looked beyond the total amount and asked whether the bill itself — or the contracts behind it — contains costs that could be reduced?
A high electricity bill does not always mean high consumption. Your business may be paying more than necessary because of contractual terms, committed quantities, settlement methods or other administrative factors.
That is what we look for.
Savings may be possible without any investment.
The analysis does not require new equipment, additional meters or a technical investment.
We start with the documents you already have:
electricity network-use and energy supply contracts;
electricity bills from the previous 12 months;
and, where available, 15-minute interval consumption data.
Based on these, OMS24 Zrt. examines whether there are opportunities to reduce your company’s electricity costs.
What if we do not find meaningful savings?
There is no service fee.
The service is provided on a success-fee basis.
If the calculated annual net saving identified through our analysis is less than HUF 250,000, we do not charge a service fee.
If we identify a meaningful saving opportunity, our service fee is equal to two months of the calculated savings.
In other words, our fee is directly linked to whether we can demonstrate a measurable financial benefit for your business.
How does it work?
Initial Consultation
We discuss how many consumption sites are included in the analysis and which documents are available.
Confidentiality Agreement and Contracting
All business and energy-related data provided to OMS24 Zrt. is handled confidentially.
Document Submission
We will need the current electricity contracts, electricity bills from the previous 12 months and, where available, interval consumption data.
If necessary, OMS24 Zrt. can also obtain the 15-minute interval consumption data on your behalf with the appropriate authorisation.
Analysis
We review the contracts, bills and available consumption data to identify potential opportunities for reducing electricity costs.
Delivery of the Analysis Report
We provide a written analysis summarising the opportunities identified and the recommended next steps.
If action needs to be taken with the energy supplier or network operator, we also prepare a draft email for you to send.
In other words, we do not simply identify the problem. We also help you take the next step.
Service Fee Settlement
Required Documents
Copy of the latest valid network-use and electricity supply contracts
Copies of the previous 12 months’ network-use and electricity bills
15-minute interval consumption data (OMS24 Zrt. can also obtain this on your behalf with the appropriate authorisation)
Deliverables
Analysis report
Draft email to be sent to the energy supplier or network operator
How much does it cost?
The service is provided on a success-fee basis.
If the calculated annual net saving is at least HUF 250,000, our service fee is equal to two months of the calculated savings.
Examples of the Service Fee
If the analysis identifies:
HUF 900,000 in annual savings, this is equivalent to HUF 75,000 in monthly savings.
In this case, the one-time service fee is:
HUF 150,000 + VAT.
If, however, the calculated annual saving is only HUF 240,000, then no service fee is charged.
What have we found in practice?
The real value of the analysis is best demonstrated by actual results. In previous reviews, we have identified several cases where examining electricity bills and contracts revealed meaningful saving opportunities without requiring any investment.
What if the problem is not in the bill?
That is an important result too.
If the analysis shows that the contracts and billing are in order, but energy consumption is still high, the next question is:
What are we actually using the energy for?
In many cases, the main meter can no longer answer that question.
This is where submetering can help identify which part of the building, piece of equipment or production process is responsible for the consumption.
And if you want to keep your company’s energy use under control over the long term:
